The Beep E-Rickshaw Mechanic Skills certification checks whether you understand how a battery e-rickshaw works and what goes wrong — 48 V packs built from 12 V batteries in series, topping up with distilled water, why flat batteries sulphate, and charging safely with the right charger in an open place.
It also covers repair work: the BLDC motor and rear differential, controllers that overheat on climbs, Hall sensor faults that make the motor jerk, hot cable joints, finding one weak battery with a load test, switching to lithium packs, and why overloading wears out the vehicle.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

E-Rickshaw Mechanic Skills certification FAQs
Is this a government EV training certificate or an e-rickshaw registration approval?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It has no affiliation with any government EV scheme, RTO, ITI, NCVT, NSDC, sector skill council, PM Vishwakarma or any e-rickshaw or battery brand, and it is not a licence or an approval of any vehicle.
Does it cover both lead-acid and lithium batteries?
Yes. Most questions are about lead-acid packs, and it also covers what changes when an e-rickshaw is moved to a lithium pack.
How is this different from the EV Two-Wheeler Repair certification on Beep?
That one covers electric scooters and bikes, their lithium packs and BMS. This one is about three-wheeler e-rickshaws — series lead-acid packs, chargers, controllers and the rear axle motor.
