The Beep EV Charger Installation certification checks whether you understand how AC chargers for homes and workplaces are installed — charger types and Type 2 and CCS2 connectors, why the car's on-board charger does the AC-to-DC work, and why every wallbox needs its own dedicated, earthed circuit.
It also tests installation judgement: working out the current of a 7.4 kW or 22 kW charger, treating charging as a continuous load, choosing RCD protection that can see DC leakage, and telling a customer honestly when their sanctioned load is too small.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

EV Charger Installation certification FAQs
Is this approved by an electricity distribution company or regulator?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment and certificate, with no affiliation to any electricity distribution company, regulator, vehicle or charger brand, or licensing authority, and it is not a licence.
Does it cover installing DC fast charging stations?
Only at awareness level. It focuses on AC home and commercial chargers; DC fast charging appears only to explain the difference.
How is it different from Beep's Electric Vehicle Management assessment?
That assessment covers the EV business and ecosystem. This one is about the electrical installation of chargers.
