The Beep Biryani Cook Skills certification checks whether you understand how a biryani is built — soaking basmati, boiling it only part of the way for pakki biryani, and how kacchi biryani cooks raw marinated meat and rice together on dum.
It also covers birista and saffron milk, sealing the handi and using a tawa under it, lifting the biryani gently so grains stay whole, fixing mushy rice and tough meat, scaling rice for a large function, and keeping raw meat and its tools away from cooked food.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Biryani Cook Skills certification FAQs
Is this a hotel-management diploma or a government cook certificate?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It has no affiliation with any hotel-management institute, NSDC, any sector skill council, government body, restaurant chain or brand. It is not a licence and not a food-business licence or registration.
Does it cover both kacchi and pakki biryani?
Yes. Questions cover raw-meat kacchi biryani and pakki biryani made with cooked masala and parboiled rice.
How is this different from the Catering & Banquet Supervisor certification on Beep?
That certification covers running buffets and banquet service. This one covers cooking the biryani itself, from rice prep to opening the dum, with no repeated questions.
