The Beep Auto-Rickshaw Mechanic Skills certification checks whether you understand how to keep a CNG or petrol auto-rickshaw running — testing CNG joints for leaks with soapy water, emptying the gas line before opening a pipe, and knowing when a rusted cylinder must come off the vehicle.
It also covers the daily garage side of the job: isolating a misfire that happens only on CNG, plug wear on gas engines, air-cooled fan and cowling problems, bleeding spongy brakes, a slipping clutch on a loaded climb, setting handlebar gear cables, and reading a wet compression test.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Auto-Rickshaw Mechanic Skills certification FAQs
Is this a CNG kit fitment approval or an ITI motor mechanic certificate?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It has no affiliation with any ITI, NCVT, NSDC, sector skill council, transport authority or any vehicle or CNG kit brand. It is not a licence, a fitment approval or a cylinder testing authority.
Does it cover electric e-rickshaws?
No. It covers CNG and petrol auto-rickshaws. Battery e-rickshaws have their own E-Rickshaw Mechanic certification on Beep, which covers battery packs, motors and controllers.
How is this different from the Two-Wheeler Service Technician certification on Beep?
That certification covers motorcycles and scooters — chain, carburettor, tappets and bike brakes. This one is about three-wheelers: CNG kits, the rear differential, hydraulic drum brakes and handlebar gear shifting.
