The Beep Tractor Operator Skills certification checks whether you understand how to run a tractor and its implements safely — starting only from the seat in neutral, keeping the PTO guard on, lowering the implement before leaving the seat, wearing the seat belt with a rollover frame and driving up and down slopes, not across.
It also covers the field work farmers hire you for: getting finer soil from a rotavator, using one brake for tight headland turns, the standard 540 rpm PTO speed, leaving headlands before ploughing, front ballast and wheel slip, a loaded trolley on slopes and at night, and calibrating a seed drill before sowing.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. It is a knowledge certificate only and never a driving licence. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Tractor Operator Skills certification FAQs
Is this a tractor driving licence?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It is never a driving licence or a permit to drive on public roads. You still need a valid licence from the transport authority. It has no affiliation with any RTO, ITI, NSDC, sector skill council, government body or tractor brand.
Does it cover repairing tractors?
No. It covers operating a tractor and its implements. Servicing and repair of hydraulics, fuel systems and clutches are covered by the Tractor Mechanic Fundamentals certification on Beep.
How is this different from the Agri-Business & Farm Management certification on Beep?
That certification is about planning and running a farm business. This one is about the hands-on job of driving the tractor and working its implements in the field.
