The Beep Security Guard Skills certification checks whether you know the daily work of a guard: complete visitor register entries, matching a truck's gate pass or challan with its load, frisking women visitors the right way, and wearing your ID where it can be seen.
It also covers what to do about an unattended bag or an open door on a night round, raising the fire alarm, using an extinguisher with the PASS method and which one never to use on electrical fires, assembly-point head counts, the recovery position, radio talk, found property, people posing as officials and handling an angry visitor calmly.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with an agency or field officer. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Security Guard Skills certification FAQs
Is this a PSARA licence or agency training certificate?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It is not a licence of any kind, does not replace any training your agency is required to give, and has no affiliation with any government body, NSDC, sector skill council or security agency.
Does it cover guarding with weapons?
No. It covers unarmed guard duties: gate and visitor control, patrols, suspicious items, fire and emergency response, radio use, first response and calm handling of people.
How is this different from the Security Supervisor certification on Beep?
Security Supervisor covers running a team: rosters, briefings, handovers and incident follow-up. This one is for the guard on the post and the duties he does himself.
