The Beep Industrial Electrician certification checks whether you understand electrical work in a factory setting — three-phase LT supply, induction motors, DOL and star-delta starters, contactors, overload relays and the MCC panels that hold them together.
It also tests plant-floor judgement: what single phasing does to a running motor, why an overload relay keeps tripping on a healthy machine, why forward-reverse starters need interlocking, and why lockout/tagout is non-negotiable before anyone touches a machine.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Who this industrial electrician certification is for
Maintenance electricians in factories and plants, ITI-trained electricians moving from house wiring into industry, and technicians applying for plant maintenance roles who want to show they understand factory electrical fundamentals.
What the credential is useful for
- Add a verifiable industrial electrical credential to your résumé with an ID employers can check.
- Show a plant maintenance supervisor you understand starters, motor protection and LOTO before you're hired.
- Refresh your fundamentals before moving from domestic wiring work into a factory role.
- Benchmark your readiness before a contractor's or plant's technical interview.
Industrial Electrician certification FAQs
Is this an electrical licence or supervisor permit?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment and certificate, with no affiliation to any government body, electrical inspectorate or licensing authority, and it is not a licence or permit.
Does it cover house wiring?
No. It is deliberately limited to the factory setting — three-phase motors, starters, MCC panels and industrial safety. House wiring is covered by Beep's Electrician Fundamentals assessment.
Does it cover high-voltage substations?
No. It focuses on LT (low tension) factory systems, not HT substation operation or switching.
