The Beep Halwai & Sweet Making Skills certification checks whether you understand how traditional Indian mithai is made — judging one-string and two-string chashni, keeping syrup clear and stopping it from turning grainy, and making khoya by slow reduction and chhena by curdling hot milk.
It also covers the frying side of a sweet shop, from fermented jalebi batter and slow-fried gulab jamun to making ghee and not overusing frying fat, along with storing milk sweets safely and working out the cost of a batch per kilo.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.
