It also covers seasonal colony management, swarming and dearth feeding, controlling Varroa mites and wax moth, extracting only ripe capped honey and processing it without overheating, the value of bees for crop pollination, and handling stings safely.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Shark Tank India, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 1 lakh people certified across 300+ fields.

Beekeeping & Honey Production certification FAQs
Is this a government or National Bee Board certification?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It has no affiliation with the National Bee Board, KVIC, any agricultural university, government body, scheme or brand, and is not a licence or a honey quality certification.
Does it cover both Indian and European honeybees?
Yes. It covers Apis cerana, the Indian hive bee, and Apis mellifera, which is widely kept in Langstroth boxes in India.
How is this different from the Organic Farming certification on Beep?
That certification covers soil health and organic crop inputs. This one focuses specifically on keeping bee colonies and producing honey.
