The Beep Asphalt & Road Worker Skills certification checks whether you know how an asphalt crew works safely: setting up cones, signs and barriers first, wearing high-visibility clothing and burn protection, and keeping clear of reversing trucks and rollers.
It also covers cleaning the surface and spraying tack coat, refusing mix that arrives too cold, rolling while the mix is hot with wet roller drums, standing upwind of fumes, first aid for asphalt burns, spotting heat stroke, and why a low-density core fails.
The assessment takes about 7 minutes, is auto-scored, and produces a certificate with a unique verifiable ID you can share with anyone. Beep is backed by Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS, with over 100,000 people certified across 300+ fields.

Asphalt & Road Worker Skills certification FAQs
Is this an official trade test or a government certificate?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It is not linked to any government body, ministry, road authority or trade test centre, and it is not a licence to drive or operate a roller or paver. It does not promise a job, visa or salary.
Does it cover driving the paver or roller?
No. It covers the knowledge every crew member needs: safety, surface preparation, hot mix, compaction timing and heat stress. Operating heavy machines needs the employer's own training and permission.
How is this different from the Mason (Raj Mistri) certification?
The mason certification covers bricks, mortar and plastering on buildings. This one is about laying and rolling hot asphalt on roads.
