Is this a pesticide or fertiliser dealer licence?
No. This is Beep's own knowledge assessment, issued and assessed by Beep only. It is not a pesticide, fertiliser or seed dealer licence, not an agronomy degree or diploma, and has no affiliation with any agriculture department, government scheme, NSDC, sector skill council or brand. Dealer licences are a separate process.
Will it teach me to recommend pesticide doses to farmers?
No. The certification checks that you always point farmers to the dose on the label and leaflet, and to the agriculture officer or Krishi Vigyan Kendra for pest advice. It does not train you to give your own dose advice.
How is this different from the Agri-Business & Farm Management certification on Beep?
That certification covers farm planning, markets, credit and farm businesses. This one covers working the counter of a seed and fertiliser shop: labels, safe storage, stock and serving farmers.
